A set of two vintage commemorative sterling silver medals and a first day of issue envelope with U.S. Missouri Commemorative postage stamp, housed in a folding display booklet and issued in a limited edition by The Danbury Mint in 1971. The postmark on the envelope is the first day of issue for the Missouri commemorative 6c postage stamp, which was May 8, 1971.

Each medal is struck with a beautiful proof finish. They are 1-1/2 inches in diameter and each weighs about 27 grams or almost 1 3/4 ounces of sterling silver.
